Influenza A virus subtype H1N1 strikes Japan

I knew the possibility of missing the patients of incubation period from the air port check, compared to other countries situation, I really can't believe this rapid spread of new flu in Kansai, because Japanese are famous for their sanitary condition. However, the number of its patients are becoming higher and higher every day. This mystery partly reminds me of Japanese "National disease" hay fever. In a sense, Japanese obsession with cleanliness might disturb our immune strength. At the beginning of this pandemic, Japanese excluded foreigners, but from now on, Japanese might be excluded from the other countries! So sad.

Nevertheless, maybe I'm too optimistic, but I'm not too worried about this flu. Fortunately, we know that just a few people died from it all over the world so far, and the articles of H1N1 have almost disappeared from the front page of the news papers in overseas (at least on Google news). We already learned how to deal with it. No one knows what will happen in the future, though.

Still, I must be careful. It's not only to avoid the suffering from disease. Just imagine that you get infected with the new flu. They would isolate you in a special hospital room immediately for a long time, and continue asking you soooo many questions of your privacy in detail, such as, "Who did you met? Where? When? How many? How did you get there? You should be honest, or you'll be punished by law!" That would be really a hassle.

Finally, I confess that I have to go to Kyoto tomorrow. Please keep your fingers crossed for me! May the force be with you!!
